Privacy Policy

Vaulturi – Secret File Vault · Effective 29 September 2026

The short version

Who we are

Vaulturi is developed by LesFM LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the Vaulturi app for iPhone and iPad handles and why.

Your vault content

Photos, videos, documents and other files you add to Vaulturi, along with album names, thumbnails and settings, are encrypted with AES-256 on your device. The encryption keys are protected by your PIN or pattern and stored in the device’s secure Keychain.

Encrypted iCloud backup (optional)

If you turn on iCloud Backup, Vaulturi uploads encrypted copies of your vault to Vaulturi’s private folder in your iCloud Drive, using your Apple Account. Files are encrypted before they leave your device, so Apple cannot see what’s inside and we never have access to your iCloud. Restoring requires your recovery code or backup password. Apple’s handling of iCloud is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can turn backup off and delete it at any time in the app’s settings or in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud.

Break-in reports & Snoop Trap (optional)

If you enable Break-in Reports, Vaulturi uses the front camera to take a short, silent video clip (or a photo) when someone enters a wrong PIN or opens your decoy vault, and records which items were opened in the decoy. These reports are encrypted on your device, can only be viewed from your main vault, and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. You can delete them at any time.

Device permissions

Vaulturi only asks for permissions when you use the feature that needs them:

Subscriptions and purchases

Payments for Vaulturi Pro are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage your subscription status. To do this, RevenueCat receives:

This information is used only to provide and restore your subscription, prevent fraud, and understand aggregate subscription metrics (for example, how many people subscribe). It is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites. None of your vault content is ever sent to RevenueCat.

What we don’t do

Keeping and deleting your data

Your vault stays on your device until you delete it. You can erase everything with Settings › Erase Vault, or by deleting the app. Your iCloud backup, if any, can be removed from iOS Settings. Because we don’t hold your content or your keys, we cannot recover a vault if you lose both your PIN and your recovery code.

Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained as needed for billing, legal and accounting purposes. To request access to or deletion of the subscription data associated with your anonymous ID, contact us at the address below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information. Because Vaulturi is designed so that we hold almost no personal information, most requests can be fulfilled directly in the app. For anything else, contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

Vaulturi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Vaulturi handles information, we’ll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
